Cracking Up!
Basic story: Graduate psych student, Ben (Jason Schwartzman), serves as a live-in therapist to the youngest son of a rich, and therefore eccentric, family. Sample: Ted (Chris McDonald): “Years from now, on your wedding night, you're going to have an urge to get up on your wife. And then she's going to have a baby.” Verdict: Much like trying to watch American Pie and Married with Children on the same screen at the same time with Rod Sterling as your host. There is a formidable amount of comedic talent in this show with plenty of funny moments just waiting to happen, but the bizarro-world nature of the characters may be slightly off-putting at first. Funny, but in a dark, subtle fashion.
